Pictures: Shinjuku Eisa Festival 2013

On Saturday, 26 troupes from all over Japan arrived in Shinjuku dressed in colourful traditional clothing and armed with all sorts of instruments to perform the traditional Okinawan dance known as “Eisa.” When we dance, we resemble a freshly caught fish flapping around the deck of a boat, so rather than take part we captured these images for you instead.

Feel free to use any of these images, as long as you credit us and include a link to this page.
