One Japanese father’s attempt to document his child growing up began as a weekly picture of the two of them together in the bathtub (a custom far more common in Japan than the west) but developed into something far more memorable after his wife suggested he “add a little makeup to his face.”
We would have thought it would be difficult enough getting kids to bathe even without sharing the tub with a series of terrifying creatures but, weirdly, the kid seems happiest in the pictures with the scariest characters.
